1
In a bowl, combine cubed wild turkey, yogurt, garam masala, turmeric, salt, pepper, chili powder, grated ginger, and grated garlic. Mix well until fully coated. Cover and marinate for at least 20 minutes.
2
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add cooking oil. Sear the turkey pieces until roughly 80% cooked through, then remove from the pan and set aside.
3
Add a little more oil to the same pan along with the diced onion. Sauté for a few minutes until softened. Add another tablespoon each of grated ginger and grated garlic, along with 1 tablespoon of butter. Sauté for about 1 minute.
4
Stir in garam masala, turmeric, and chili powder. Toast the seasonings for another minute or two. Pour in the tomato sauce and heavy cream, stirring until well combined.
5
Add the turkey back into the sauce along with chopped cilantro and 2 tablespoons of butter. Reduce the heat and let simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the turkey is fully cooked and tender.
6
Serve over rice with garlic naan and enjoy!
