Preheat oven to 400°F.

Clean mushrooms, pat dry, remove stems, and use a small spoon to enlarge the cavity. Finely chop the stems.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the venison until about halfway browned. Add the chopped mushroom stems, onion, and garlic. Continue cooking until the meat is fully cooked and the vegetables are softened.

Remove from the heat. In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooked venison mixture until smooth and well combined.

Fill each mushroom cap with about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and place into a baking dish. Top with additional Parmesan if desired.

Bake for 18 minutes, then broil on high for 1–2 minutes until the tops are golden brown. Serve hot and enjoy!
